The hymns come from the four-part scores at Timeless Truths, which marks each one public domain. Two were left out because their arrangements or added verses are newer than the rest. The familiar English “How Great Thou Art” words and harmony are still under copyright; the library has the 1903 Swedish original instead. Each hymn's page lists its words and music credits. This is a practical provenance review, not legal advice.
Each part is played from the score by your browser, so tempo and key changes keep full quality. On an iPhone, turn the ringer on or use headphones if you hear nothing.
Space play or pause · ← → previous or next line · 1–4 practice step · / find a hymn · drag the roll to move through the hymn, tap it to jump.
Add a public-domain hymn from a MusicXML file.
Choose a four-part hymn saved as MusicXML (.musicxml, .xml or .mxl). Timeless Truths offers these on each hymn's page under “MusicXML”.
